A Sweet Reminder
Can I be honest with you guys?
It was a hard week to come up with a blog post. One, I am currently writing a couple of blog posts for a ministry blog that is starting. Do not worry you will see those soon; when they are done going through the editing process. A lot of my writing energy is dedicated to that right now. Second, I don’t know about you, but being home for almost 7 weeks causes your creative juices to slow. Creating content is never easy especially when you have to create it out of “nothing”.
I wanted to be honest with you all because I think we are all currently feeling this. We are all stuck in the same or similar situations and it can get tired some. However, I wanted to share something with you. I swore to myself, I would post every month. I have done just that and want to keep it going. Also, writing about what you are feeling can be relatable as well. If I try and create something that isn’t as honest and true, I am sure you would catch on!
I wanted to share with my favorite verse. It is one that has gotten through tough moments in my life and just a promise that I live by each and every day,
Maybe you need this promise today because you feel like no one is listening and you just need to be heard? Or maybe you don’t feel like God will ever come through in this time, or even in your own life.
I love the visualization of seeing God just picking me up when I need it. Maybe you just need the promise of your Savior holding you in this uncertainty.
Isaiah is reminding us that God is unlimited in His capacity and readiness to help.
God is listening, carrying us, and ready for us no matter how we come!
How have you been feeling during this time? What have you really needed from God in these uncertain moments?
